About Dynelectro
Dynelectro is a Danish solid oxide electrolyser (SOEC) OEM delivering megawatt-scale reversible systems for high-efficiency hydrogen production, energy storage, and power generation. Engineered for industrial-scale deployment, Dynelectro’s proprietary technology enables dynamic operation—allowing electrolysers to follow fluctuating renewable energy sources while achieving electrical efficiency of up to 90%. Their modular SOEC units deliver cost-effective green hydrogen alongside fast-reacting ancillary grid-stability services to significantly lower the Levelised Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH).
Role in the Project
Within the project, Dynelectro brings its expertise in advanced manufacturing to scale up production, lower costs, and eliminate material waste for solid oxide cell components. Key responsibilities include:
- ReScale Manufacturing Upscaling: Co-developing and optimising the innovative ReScale method to enhance the production(/sintering) yield of the steam electrode and electrolyte.
- Process Optimisation & Waste Reduction: Enhancing cell geometry and 3D mould processing to eliminate post-sintering laser cutting steps, reducing manufacturing cracks and material scrap.
- Structural & Performance Stabilisation: Comparing the fracture toughness and microstructure of ReScale-produced cells against conventional methods to deliver stronger, highly stable sintered cells for stack integration and validation.
