Role in the Project
Within the HySPRINT project, Loccioni is tasked with the critical engineering feat of designing, developing, and installing an innovative 5kW stack test bench at SE facilities. Designed to significantly reduce End-of-Line (EoL) testing times and lower overall CAPEX and OPEX costs, the station utilizes a single station after assembly line in SolydEra facilities. The scope is to reduce the activation time for the sample and observe presence of scraps after assembly. Furthermore, the bench features an integrated multi-channel Impedance Spectrometry measurement system for real-time, online monitoring of cell impedance alongside custom monitoring software, all built within a framework that ensures compact system footprints and optimal workplace safety. Later in the project, Loccioni will have a feasibility study for the upgrade of the machine to a 30kW SOEC stack, together with solution able to reduce gas waste and a better optimisation of the energy involved in the process.
